Start Low….. Go Slow
Most of us have been in an environment where we seen a person who has had a style of clothing we don’t like or a medical aesthetic treatment done that we don’t like. We recognize that everyone is different and each person will choose their own style of clothes and their own choice of augmentation treatments or restorative treatments based on what makes them feel they are the best version of themselves.
You also get to choose what makes you feel the best version of yourself and it may not be mini skirts and likewise it may be more of a restorative medical aesthetic treatment, however, you may be reluctant to venture into medical aesthetic treatments because of worry of being augmented rather than restored and looking “over injected”.
Here are some tips to keep your medical aesthetic treatments in line with your own ideals and goals.
1) Choose an injector who reflects and projects the image which you are hoping to achieve. They do not have to be the same age as you but its important that they have a similar perspective on aesthetics as you. Its no different than how we choose our styles - its based on what we see on others that pleases us and we feel its similar to our tastes.
2) Spend time discussing the treatment options. Ensure that you feel you have been fully informed on the various treatments which you can do. Never feel rushed to decide - there should be ample time to discuss the outcomes and the potential risks as well as understanding the full cost for each treatment option.
3) Don’t be afraid to walk away and think about it if you are not ready to undergo the treatment just yet. This is your face….. you want to absorb all the information and options and be fully prepared to have treatments done. A really great injector will encourage you to start low and go slow ……. there is never any treatment that MUST be done. You are in control of what is done to your body and the injector will understand if you need to take a step back, process everything and then book for the treatment. Hope to see you soon !
